Swan Valley Room & Galleries
The Swan Valley Room clearly displays the “rustic elegance” character of the Old Irwin Lodge. The rustic nature of the log construction of the Lodge, accented by the elegance of original art works, oriental rugs, eclectic antique furnishings and classic fixtures combine as a recipe for making the Swan Valley Room very unique and enjoyable.
The 1,200 square foot Swan Valley Room features a vaulted ceiling, large windows with lovely views of Swan Valley and the Caribou Mountains, unique interior wildlife displays and a large dressed fieldstone fireplace with an inviting raised stone hearth. Amenities include a generous dining area for breakfast and dinner, comfortable seating area in front of the fieldstone fireplace, custom sound system and Captain Irwin's Barnwood Pub.
A scrumptious breakfast is a great way to start the day at the Old Irwin Lodge. Enjoy the spacious dining area in the Swan Valley Room or the sheltered outdoor deck (weather permitting) for breakfast in the morning. Each table provides ample room to enjoy breakfast alone or with other guests, and starts the adventures of a new day.
At the end of the day, guests will look forward to a delicious gourmet four course dinner in the Swan Valley Room.
Guests are invited to relax in front of the fireplace and gaze out of the picture windows at the constantly changing effects of light, weather and seasonal colors of Swan Valley and the Caribou Mountains or browse through a variety of books and magazines selected to provide guests with up-to-date information about the nearby scenic features and activities. In addition, guests can enjoy music from the custom sound system and socialize with other guests at Captain Irwin's Pub.
As you look around the Swan Valley Room, you will see the entrance into the Antelope Room. This room's unique barnwood walls along with other rustic details make this room ideal for watching television, playing a game of cards, or having a friendly conversation with loved ones and close friends.
Gallery Hallways
The interior galleries that provide access to the suites from the lobby are a major feature of the Old Irwin Lodge. Branching both north and south from the lobby, the trip to the suites offers a display of original art, wildlife mounts and collectables from the Bottomley’s years in Wyoming and Idaho. From the lobby, the galleries soar in height to reflect the vaulted ceilings of the adjacent suites. Classic chandeliers light the way and provide a warm evening glow from the windows of the Old Irwin Lodge.
